Scientology and Totalitarianism
When read in the context of Bruce Wiseman's letter, Laura Kay Fuller's Thesis regarding Scientology's ultimate goals - to "Get Ethics In On The Planet" and then "Clear It" - raises concerns. It discusses the meanings of those two terms, and what the world would be like if Scientology ever got it's way
This thesis argues that Scientology, as an ideology, is moving in a totalitarian direction. Totalitarianism is an extreme form of control of thought, behaviour and interaction. The desire of totalitarianism is complete homogenization. As an ideology, it aims at eliminating difference, so that no variations can exist
The Swiss Report
Unofficial translation Since the report "Scientology in Switzerland" has been published, the State Security Advisory Commission (KSK) has determined that it contained some information which is outdated or incomplete. Based on this finding, the Scientology Church Zurich was sought out for their opinion (supplement 1). At the same time the KSK also made an effort to get further current, pertinent information from governmental agencies. The statements by Scientology and the augmentative clarifications of the KSK are found in a synoptic presentation (supplement 2).
Nothing has changed in the fundamental findings and conclusions of the report.
